YouTube & podcast video editing.

YouTube video editing and podcast editing should preserve your voice while giving viewers a clear thread to follow. I tighten conversations, add purposeful cutaways and graphics, and prepare full episodes or standalone social clips.

Built around your project

An episode people can follow.

01

YouTube and talking-head editing

The first edit is about the argument or story: what needs to come first, what deserves time and which repetitions can go. I tighten pauses and false starts while keeping your delivery natural. Cutaways, screen recordings and on-screen text are added where they explain a point or provide useful context, with a visual style suited to your channel rather than effects on every sentence.

02

Podcast episodes and interviews

For a video podcast, I synchronise supplied camera angles and separate audio, then choose shots around the conversation. Speaker changes, reactions and wider views should feel deliberate. I can include an agreed introduction, guest identification, chapters and captions, while balancing dialogue and reducing suitable background noise. The amount of camera footage and audio repair required is reviewed before quoting.

03

Clips for Shorts, Reels and TikTok

Short clips work best when each one contains a complete thought. We can select excerpts from the main recording and shape each with a clear opening, enough context and a useful finish. Vertical reframing keeps the speaker visible, while captions are placed away from platform controls. Recurring episodes can share the same title, caption and graphics style for a consistent publishing schedule.

Before we start

What I need from you.

Your camera and audio files, any screen recordings or cutaways, a reference style and your target running time.

Include a sample or file link, approximate source length, the finished length you have in mind and your deadline. I’ll review the material and confirm the scope and quote before editing.

Your deliverables

Ready for your audience.

The agreed full episode and any separately scoped social clips, supplied in the required landscape or vertical formats. Caption files, burned-in captions and audio-only versions can be included in the brief.

You review a first cut and share consolidated feedback. Revision scope, final formats and timing are agreed before work starts.

Planning the edit

Your questions, answered.

Can you edit a complete podcast episode and short clips?

Yes. A full episode and a set of short clips can be scoped together. Send the recordings, camera angles, audience and intended platforms. We agree the number and length of clips before editing, then build each around a complete idea rather than a random fragment.

Can you work with me on regular YouTube videos?

Yes. We can agree a recurring editing schedule and a consistent style for your channel. Your footage length, target running time, graphics and publishing frequency determine the scope. I can edit talking-head, interview, educational and finance content without promising views or subscriber growth.
